17 Jesus[a] asked him, “Why ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good.[b] If you want to get into that life, you must keep the commandments.”
18 The young man[c] asked him, “Which ones?”
Jesus said, “‘You must not murder,[d] you must not commit adultery,[e] you must not steal,[f] you must not give false testimony,[g] 19 honor your father and mother,’[h] and, ‘you must love your neighbor as yourself.’”[i]
